2003 was a successful year for L. Bain & Co
Ltd. We saw all sorts of new developments taking place.
 |
In January, we
were sub-contracted to supply a vessel for crew transfers to Cory
Environmental. |
 |
April saw the
delivery of our new Hull, now named
M.B. Fathom, she is the latest recruitment to the fleet. Work has begun on the vessel fitting it out. |
 |
In May/June,
M.B King's Reach was sent away to have her
bottom re-plated, new floor bearers and new gunwales fitted. |

 |
The Thames Barge Sailing match in July was another
great success. For the 5th year running, the M.B. Avante has ferried barge
crews to and fro their moorings at Gravesend. For further information on the
Thames Barges you can visit their website
